Maya Beauchamp is an interdisciplinary artist based in Falkirk and Edinburgh, graduating from the Edinburgh College of Art with a BA in Painting. Her practice brings together painting, collage, sound and video, her focus being on the aesthetics of glitch, fault, and decay.
She has exhibited on her own and with groups throughout Scotland, and is eager to exhibit further afield, starting with being a part of the Cambridge Artspace show ‘ANTIDOTE’. Her work is proudly queer and working-class, and in 2025 she became a member of the ECA’s Working Class Collective, a group working to improve representation of working-class persons in the arts and share skills to improve employability.
Maya teaches life drawing across Scotland’s central belt, informed by her arts education and her experience as a working life model since 2021.
